The 1974 Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of the student's education and financial aid records. Students authorizing the PHSC Financial Aid Office to release and discuss information concerning their financial records to third parties, guardians, spouses, family members, or employers must complete and sign a FERPA release of information form located on the student self-service portal under the Resources tab. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information regarding the FERPA form process.
Students can revoke their FERPA release at any time by contacting the Financial Aid Office.
